Welcome!

About Me

Hi there! I am so honored you have chosen to take the brave leap to begin therapy. As your therapist, I aim to create a safe and compassionate space where you can explore your inner world, heal from past experiences, and grow into the life you envision. I strive to help you uncover the roots of your experiences and foster meaningful change. Together, we will navigate the complexities of your emotions, relationships, and goals with warmth, understanding, and collaboration. Wherever you are on your journey, I am here to walk alongside you!

Specialties

Eating Disorders

I provide support for individuals struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, orthorexia, and other disordered eating behaviors. My approach focuses on understanding the underlying emotions, beliefs, and relational dynamics that contribute to these challenges. Utilizing psychodynamic modalities, I help my clients rebuild a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and themselves.

Relationships

Relationships are at the heart of our lives, shaping how we connect with ourselves and others. Whether you're navigating romantic relationships, friendships, or family dynamics, I provide a supportive space to explore patterns, improve communication, and foster deeper connections. As Esther Perel states, "The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives".

Anxiety and Depression

Living with anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don't have to face it alone. I help my clients uncover the deeper roots and unmet needs of their struggles and develop tools to navigate life with greater ease and resilience. Together, we'll work to break free from the feeling of being stuck, foster self-compassion, and create a path toward healing and hope.

Perfectionism and Shame

Perfectionism and shame often go hand in hand, creating a cycle of self-doubt, fear of failure, and an unrelenting inner critic. If you find yourself striving for unattainable standards or feeling unworthy, I am here to help cultivate self-compassion, embrace imperfection, and reconnect with your inherent worth, so you can lead a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Trauma

I am a firm believer that every human has experienced trauma in some way or another, whether through major life events, relational wounds, or subtle yet impactful experiences. Trauma can leave deep imprints on the mind and body, shaping how we experience the world and connect with others. Together, we'll work to rebuild a sense of safety, resilience, and self-nurturance, empowering you to move forward with strength and hope.

Some questions Answered

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. Most of my clients start with weekly sessions to build rapport and trust in the therapeutic relationship, though we can adjust the frequency based on your needs and goals.

Yes, at this time I am only offering virtual sessions.

I draw from psychodynamic modalities, attachment-based theories, Internal Family Systems, and narrative interventions. These approaches focus on exploring the root causes of challenges, fostering self-awareness, and building healthier patterns for growth and healing.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I like to say finding a therapist is similar to dating, we have to make sure we are a good fit! We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions you may have. It's a collaborative space where you can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Sessions are $185 per 50-minutes. I am more than happy to provide Superbills for my clients to seek reimbursement from their insurance plans.

Your appointments are reserved specifically for you, and I value the time we set aside to work together. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a late cancellation fee. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours'  notice will incur a $100 fee. Thank you for respecting this policy, as it allows me to best serve all my clients.
